Notes
Shrub or small tree with characteristic thin leaves: the darker green nerves stand out against the lighter green blade. Petiole short, to 15 mm, soon corky. Blade about 20 x 7.5 cm, with 7 – 10 pairs of laterals, glaucous or metallic below, frequently pustulate. Margin shallowly dented. Big flowers. Fruit splitting open before ripening, seeds developing on the reflexed valves, about 1 cm, in a sweet orange pulp. Syn.: Gymnorinorea abidjanensis.
