The Arcus Foundation is a leading global foundation dedicated to the idea that people can live in harmony with one another and the natural world, and the belief that respect for diversity among peoples and in nature is essential to a positive future for the planet and all its inhabitants.
The Darwin Initiative funds projects that help countries which are rich in biodiversity, but poor in financial resources to meet their objectives under one or more of the following biodiversity conventions: CBD, CITES, the Nagoya Protocol, and the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture.
The Forest Carbon Partnership Facility assists developing countries in the spirit of the agreement to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (“REDD+” and related activities) by providing value to standing forests.
Following the Government of Norway’s agreement with Liberia, the Norwegian Agency for Development cooperation is working with us to provide initiatives for economic development, create jobs, and deliver vocational training, towards the ultimate cause to stop logging in the country.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service envisions a world where all people value nature and conserve living resources for the well-being of life on Earth, works towards this with strong programmes of survey, research, information sharing, wildlife monitoring, and partnership.
