Liberia (likely to occur)
A very variable species; medium-sized tree, or shrub, or liana, in rain forests and gallery forests, not yet recorded from Liberia, growing up to an elevation of 1600 m, to 30 m tall and 45 cm Ã. Leaves with 3 – 9 opposite or sub-opposite leaflets, often lacking the “collecting nerve” that is mostly present in S. juglandifolia. Fruit orange (red?) when ripe, 1.5 – 2.5 x .8 – 1.5 cm, glabrous. Syn.: Sorindeia collina/Sorindeia warneckei/Sorindeia zenkeri.
