Notes

Shrub or small tree to 10 m high, usually in semi deciduous forest; slash purplish. Leaves 18 – 23 x 4 – 7 cm, bluish beneath, with 6 – 9 pairs of steeply ascending laterals. Short petiole, margin entire, base cuneate, apex acuminate. Fine venation closely scalariform; lamina with translucent points. Fruits orange when ripe, cylindrical, about 3 – 4 x 1 cm.
