Notes

Medium-sized middle story trees of older secondary forests; the stem is dark grey, nearly black, straight, with low root spurs. The slash is dark brown/blackish, exuding a white latex. Latex rapidly forming into little rubber balls when rubbed between the fingers. Leaves simple, opposite, acuminate at top, cuneate at base, ± decurrent along very short petiole; 6 – 12 pairs of looping laterals. Domatia not always distinct.
