Liberia (likely to occur)
Medium-sized tree of secondary dry forests, often planted in villages. Big, simple, alternate, more or less clustered, nearly round leaves, rounded at the top, rounded – cordate at base; distinctly tri-nerved with a lax scalariform venation. Blade coarsely hairy below. Slash sponghy-fibrous with high bark rays, rapidly discolouring. Flowers white; fruits 2 – 5 cm long, with persistent calyx.
