Notes

Can be a big tree with narrow, thin buttresses; slash purplish, dense. Leaves simple, alternate, with short, pubescent petiole, elliptic – elongate; margin entire, apex (long) acuminate to caudate; base cuneate, with a pair of glands. About 8 pairs of laterals. Pubescent stipules may be visible. Fruit ± rounded with a knobbly skin. The other Dactyladenia species have more a tear-drop shape.Tree found in the Nimba mountains.
