Notes

A large tree, up to 35 m and over 1 m Ø, with heavy root swellings or swollen root spurs, found scattered or in small groups throughout the high forest, occasionally also in older secondary forest. This species shares the characteristic leaf arrangement of opposite/digitate only with Vitex species. See also PROTA database.
