Notes
Can grow into a tall tree of 30 m and 100 cm Ø; fairly common in the wettest rainforests. Base with narrow buttresses; slash dark red with some yellow latex. Leaves simple, opposite, with numerous laterals, the fine venation with conspicuous dots at the end of the veins; no resin ducts between the veins. See also PROTA database.
