Notes

Small low-branched rainforest tree, to 30 cm Ø, with dark scaly bark and deeply fluted bole. Slash thin and whitish. Leaf impari-pinnate, the leaflets mostly alternate or sub-opposite, with many brown spots below. Laterals of the leaflets obscure, some with domatia in the axils. Synonym: Guarea leonensis.
