Notes

Shrub or small tree, quite common in the understory of the rainforest; leaves elliptic or 3-lobed, white-pubescent beneath, with a long petiole. The angle between the laterals and the midrib is much sharper in M. libericus than in M. serratus. Both have scalariform venation.
