Notes

Small tree to 5m, sometimes half climbing; gallery forest and edge of savanna; Nimba region, higher elevations. Leaves with conspicuous translucent dots and dashes. Margin undulate/serrated, sometimes along the upper half only, the teeth terminated by a opaque point. Blade slightly fleshy. Petiole 1 – 3 cm long; base ± decurrent, narrowly cuneate; apex acute. Lower surface and venation pubescent, with stellate hairs (?).
