Notes

Full name: Raphia palma-pinus. A common palm tree, locally dominant in swamps; this species does not develop a distinct stem but very big pinnate leaves (to 10 m long) arising in from clump at the base. Small prickles along the edge of the blade; blade grass-green at both sides.
