Notes

Treelet with little-branched stems, in drier forest zones and gallery forests, forming thickets. Leaves simple, opposite, interpetiolar stipules 7 – 15 mm long with acute apex, soon caducous; petiole 1 – 6 cm, holow; blade very variable, margin entire, tip ronded, 5 – 30 x 1 – 15 cm, with 5 – 12 pairs of laterals. Fruits glabrous, ellipsoid, ± 8 x 10 mm.
