Notes

Small tree or treelet, collected in the Firestone region, Dukwia River. Endemic in Liberia. Twigs with short yellowish/greyish hairs. Leaves simple, opposite, elliptic/oblong/lanceolate, with short petiole; apex acuminate , base cuneate, margin entire. 4 – 7 pairs of laterals with domatia in the axils. Interpetiolar stipules forming a tube with thread-like extensions. Flowers white, in terminal inflorescences. Fruits purple/black, shining, glabrous.
