Notes

Treelet, collected in the Nimba region, to 8 m, with white fragrant flowers. Young twigs pubescent. Leaves simple, opposite or in whorls of three, and with interpetiolar stipules. With a short petiole, elliptic – obovate, 6 – 10 x 2 -4 cm, with acuminate tip, cuneate base, and entire margin. 5 – 7 pairs of laterals with domatia in the axils. Veins closely scalariform. Note that A. jasminiflora has less laterals!
