Notes

Can grow into a dominant tree of the rainforest, up to 50 m tall and 150 cm Ø, preferring light, well-drained soils; regeneration common on open sites. It is initialy a very fast growing species. Bark thick, scaly; slash yellowish brown. See also PROTA database. Syn.: Nauclea trillesii, Sarcocephalus diderichii.
