Notes

Medium sized tree, rarely large, slender, mostly in secondary forest, with typical spreading branches and distichous leaves. Slash brown, spotty, turning greenish. Leaves simple, opposite,with interpetoar stipules; pit domatia in the axils of the upper laterals; margin decurrent into petiole. See also PROTA database. Syn.: Canthium arnoldianum/Canthium tekbe.
