Notes
Leaf structure very similar to Nauclea diderichii but this is a straggling road side shrub or small tree to 6 m., with the leaves in two rows along the twigs (distichous), and with white fragrant flowers. The stipules are triangular, very different from the big obovate stipules of Nauclea. Reported from savanna woodland but in Liberia a fairly common roadside shrub/treelet. Syn.: Nauclea latifolia, Nauclea esculenta.
