Notes

Shrub or small tree to 8 m, with angular twigs, restricted to sandy sea shores. Leaves simple, oblanceolate, 7 – 12 x 2 – 3.5 cm, thin and glabrous, with numerous faint laterals, the blade with numerous glandular points on both sides. Fruit with reticulate wings, ± 3 cm Ø, cordate at both ends, containing 2 – 4 small seeds. Locally grown as hedge.
