Notes

A small tree only known from the Nimba mountains, with a rough bark, flaky when old; slash orange-brown, contoured. Leaves sometimes bifoliolate but usually with 2 pairs of opposite, acuminate leaflets; rachis terminated with a point; leaflets with 5 – 7 pairs of laterals. Fruits 2-lobed with equal lobes, yellow, glabrous; seeds without aril. Syn.: Crossonephelis adamii.
