Notes

Rare, tall tree, recorded from the Man region in Ivory Coast but not yet from Liberia; slash white or creamy with black outer layer. Leaves more or less like those of Chrysophyllum pruniforme, with numerous fine parallel laterals, but larger. Fruits ovoid, to 11 cm long and 8.5 cm Ø. Syn.: Chrysophyllum letestuanum, pentagonocarpum.
