Notes

Tall tree with narrow buttresses, extending into an extraordinary narrowly fluted bole; crown with whorled branches (?); slash pale or yellowish brown, fibrous, with white latex exuding from the inner bark. Leaves without stipules, simple, alternate, long-elliptic, acute-acuminate apex, entire margin, long-cuneate at base, decurrent. Numerous not very pronounced, fairly straight laterals joining a fine sub-marginal vein; thin finer veins ± parallel to the laterals. Flowers small, yellowish, just under and between the leaves. Fruits ± 1.5 cm long, one-seeded.
