Notes

A tree of 5-6 m high in the dry gallery forest and understory of riparian woodland and fringing savanna forest; observed in the Nimba area. Leaves simple, alternate, clustered, with acute – rounded apex and wavy margin; with ± 10 pairs of laterals; venation ± lax scalariform. Twigs, petiole and midrib reddish pubescent. The bark contains white latex. Syn.: Vincentella passargei.
