Notes

Can be a large forest tree with sharp buttresses. Slash soft, pithy-fibrous, white – pale orange, with streaks of orange gritty flecks. Leaves simple, alternate, oblong-ovate, distinctly 3-nerved at base, 10 – 18 cm long. Margin entire, apex obtuse- acute, base truncate to slightly cordate. About 4 pairs of laterals, including the basel pair. Fruits 5 – 10 cm, asymmetric, with winged seeds.
