Notes

Tree of the upland forests, possibly present in Nimba. Leaves slender, lanceolate, entire or serrated on the upper half, the basal pair of laterals not reaching as far as e.g. C. prantlii; no tuft domatia. Slash typical Celtis-like but yellow-brown mottled or banded. Fruits small, ovoid, 6 mm long. See also PROTA database. Syn.: Celtis durandii.
