Notes

A small, low-branching understory tree of the semi deciduous forest, with sarmentose branches. Slash yellowish, rapidly turning darker. Leaves simple, alternate, with a pair of high reaching ascending basal laterals, glabrous. Fruit a glabrous drupe of about 9 mm, on a 6 – 12 mm long stalk.Syn.: Celtis brownii/Celtis wightii/Celtis philippensis.
