Notes

Small understory tree to 4 m in wetter forests. Leaves simple, alternate, variable in form, 5 – 15 cm long, short petiole, glabrous. Blade mostly narrowly elliptic – oblanceolate, with entire or finely serrate margin; 5 – 8 pairs of laterals looping ± halfway the margin.;with swollen base or top;blade with 4 – 8 pairs of laterals.
